Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

Andrew operates an Award Unit for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

Our Award Unit is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25, but is specifically targeting participants who have disabilities who may not have access through other organisations.

The Award encourages participants to challenge themselves through Physical Activity, Skills Development, Service and undertaking an Adventurous Journey.

Our team assists participants to access The Award and connect to activities that interest them that can be counted for the award.

We will be working with participants to find Adventurous Journey options that are appropriate for their specific needs.

For young people finishing school, we believe that the Duke of Edinburgh’s International award may provide a useful structure to assist in the exploration of new activities and the establishment of new routines in their post school year.
